It was the second time this year that the Surf Games took place in Podersdorf at the Neusiedlersee from 5th to 6th of May. And it was a blast – the wind was blowing on both days from the morning until the evening so that all the competitions could have been done, the sun was shining, the temperatures were summerly … just perfect. Let it be said: We can be truly happy to have such great surf events here in Austria!
So here’s an impression of the Surf Games Podersdorf which has been an awesome event for boardsport fanatics! There has been a 4-Mile-Fun-Endurance-Race for kite- and windsurfers, some windsurf competitions and a freestyle/parkstyle contest. If you haven’t been at the Surf Games, at least you can have a look at these pics. If you have been there, maybe you find yourself somewhere here … Get more information and pics about this Stylehunters event here: Surf Games Podersdorf

This was a special shooting for the new surfbeach in Podersdorf/Neusiedlersee and contains not only kitesurf pics but also windsurf shots. However, kitesurfing, windsurfing, hydrofoiling … all we need is a board, right?
All kinds of windsport in one event
Last weekend Heli and I went to Lake Garda, where we spent some days in Riva del Garda. The reason was an exclusive event preview for “Garda Wind Garda – Your wind experience.” The organisers of Barcolana invited media representatives and partners to take part in this preview. No question: I was mightily proud that I had received an invitation!
To describe the event in a few words: It’s an action-packed mix of different sports around wind and air, from kite- and windsurfing through sailing to paragliding.
Impressions of the first weekend of SWC 2016 in Podersdorf/Austria
Hey guys, since last week there is a lot going on at the Neusiedlersee (Lake Neusiedl). The reason is the Surf Worldcup, which has been carried out annually since 1998 there. Since then every year it got more crowded and in the meantime it has developed to a huge event – on the first weekend alone 45.000 people came to Podersdorf.
