Kitespot Kremasti – Rhodes, Greece. All you kneed to know

Kremasti, Rhodes: My favorite summer spot

It was so much fun to write this article cause this kitespot really means a lot to me! On the one side, cause I spent most of my time on the water there, made most of my progress and I completed my kitesurf-instructor-internship at this place.

On the other side, cause I learned to know so much people there whom I grew very fond of – without a doubt I would say they became close friends to me. Not to forget our dog Monkey who spent the first year of his life at Kremasti beach. For all those reasons I feel emotionally bond with this place and I can’t imagine one year without going there. So I return every year (like many, many others do …).

Find the best kitespots and connect with other kitesurfers

Most of us know the problem: If you want to discover or find new kitespots, it can take a lot of time till you have all the information you have been looking for. Especially when you’re dealing with non-popular, non-crowded places.
Sometimes you rummage through heaps of forums and pages – with the result that you’re more confused than before. Some say that one spot os “totally crowded, but with butterflat water”, by others the same spot gets labeled as “deserted, but wavy”. Especially if you want to spontaneous switch to another spot, then you want to have all the information about it without surfing hours for ours through the web.

GARDA WIND GARDA – Event Preview at Lake Garda

All kinds of  windsport in one event

Last weekend Heli and I went to Lake Garda, where we spent some days in Riva del Garda. The reason was an exclusive event preview for “Garda Wind Garda – Your wind experience.” The organisers of Barcolana invited media representatives and partners to take part in this preview. No question: I was mightily proud that I had received an invitation!
To describe the event in a few words: It’s an action-packed mix of different sports around wind and air, from kite- and windsurfing through sailing to paragliding.
